  • Customer Focused Service We will consider everyone who contacts the Oshkosh Area Workforce Development Center a customer and deserving of a quality response and/or service. Our primary customers are employers and job seekers. Meeting their needs will be the focus of every transaction.
  • Integration of Service Delivery To assure the Oshkosh Area Workforce Development Center will be competitive in the future, we will continuously enhance our integrated delivery system, planning, coordinating, and providing services to maximize the utilization of resources.
  • Seamless Delivery System To achieve seamless delivery, we will be creative, responsive and flexible in providing customer services and in facilitating connections to needed services.
  • Market Driven System We will develop new initiatives and improve our delivery system based on changes in the market affecting our customers.
  • Continuous Quality Improvement We will continuously improve services for customers through continuing improvement methods and ongoing assessment.
  • Commitment to Partnership We believe the strengths of the individual partners contribute to the greater strength of the partnership. This includes collaboration of the partners when applying for funding. Fostering the partnership is vital to the dynamic evolution of the Oshkosh Area Workforce Development Center.
  • Consensus Management We will continue to make decisions by consensus at all levels of the organization to promote trust, ownership, and teamwork among the partners.
  • Staff Development We will foster a vigorous and innovative program of staff development to build capacity to design, deliver, and experiment with leading-edge service delivery.

  • Achieve the highest quality training and employment services for job seekers and employers, which will provide area employers with a pre-qualified and trained workforce.  
  • Establish an efficient process of joint planning and management of multiple training/employment systems, which will result in effective integration and utilization of available resources.  
  • Develop a comprehensive and centralized database of program services, job applications, employers, job openings and regional training opportunities.  
  • Enhance and collaborate with current economic development activities and business/educational partnerships.  
  • Provide a linkage between the workplace and the development of workforce skills of youth in K-12 schools.
